• The Ortles Tirol Wool Responsive Stretch Hooded Jacket is a lightweight, insulated jacket designed for aerobic activity in the mountains and in all weather conditions. It works perfectly as an outer layer or as a versatile mid-layer under a shell jacket.
• The combination of a four-way stretch nylon outer material and stretchable padding makes this model ideal for sports activities in the mountains. Thanks to the three-dimensional structure of the non-woven laminate, the material is highly breathable and moisture-wicking, while also being flexible and highly durable.
• TirolWool® Responsive Stretch fill releases excess heat accumulated during intense exercise, while retaining it close to the body during static rest breaks. Furthermore, the insulation retains its thermal properties even after getting wet. Developed in collaboration with the Tyrolean Mountain Rescue Service, TirolWool® uses wool from Tyrolean high-altitude sheep. The Responsive technology converts the far infrared (FIR) energy naturally generated by the body and then gradually returns it to muscle tissue, allowing the body to maintain thermal comfort for longer, improving performance during exercise, and accelerating recovery.
• An insulated, adjustable hood integrated into the high collar provides additional protection in harsh conditions. The full-length main zipper is equipped with a windproof flap at the bottom to block out gusts of wind. The jacket also features two zippered side pockets and a practical chest pocket.
