Gabel Ibex XTS Model Designed specifically for the most demanding and professional athletes who prefer top-of-the-line products, the Ibex XTS is a technologically advanced, versatile, and reliable climbing and trekking pole, suitable for both winter and summer use. Due to its extremely low weight and super-efficient locking system, this model is especially recommended for high-altitude climbers and alpine guides.

The section shaft consists of four tubes with a diameter of 18-14 mm. The sections are made of durable SNAKE CARBON carbon fiber – a high-modulus carbon fiber with a special geometric pattern that resembles snakeskin. This innovative carbon crystallization system makes the model 20% lighter and 18% more durable than regular carbon fiber poles.

This model is, of course, telescopic and allows for length adjustments ranging from 100 to 115 cm. Additionally, the model is equipped with the so-called Wired system, which allows the individual sections to be extended so that the poles reach a length of 34 cm when folded.

The tungsten CARBIDE tip/spike guarantees excellent grip on any terrain, while the extended SOFT Touring foam handle provides more contact points for total comfort. Finally, the highly comfortable and breathable handle strap features an additional, special antibacterial coating to increase its durability and overall comfort. We recommend

• Fast Lock – an external locking system that, thanks to robust buckles, allows for quick and secure adjustment of the pole length. It also works very well in low temperatures.

• Carbide – carbide, a special alloy of metal, semimetal, and carbon atoms from which the tips of widia sticks are made. This material is significantly more abrasion-resistant than steel.

• Soft – handle made of very soft foam material ensuring comfort of use and a very secure grip.

• Carbon – the highest quality carbon fiber makes the poles light and stiff.

• Wired – Innovative WIRED technology allows you to fold the pole with a simple press of a button. The individual sections of the pole are connected by an ultra-durable cable. The advantage of this technology is that the pole is very stiff, lightweight, and takes up very little space, making it extremely easy to transport.

• Snake Carbon – “Snake Carbon” technology is a composition of up to seven layers of carbon fiber and Kevlar, creating a snakeskin-like geometric pattern created through innovative fiber crystallization technology.
