A safety leash, or rope, is used to attach a SUP rider to their board. The construction of a SUP leash is very simple – it s a rope with clasps on both ends. One clasp attaches to a metal D-ring on the board, while the other end features a strap that fastens around the ankle. This strap prevents the board from floating away if you fall into the water. A leash is practically essential for wave riding, and in calm waters, it significantly improves safety.

A special large loop-grip on the foot cuff allows you to quickly unfasten it with just one finger. Additionally, the foot cuff is lined with a very comfortable material – neoprene – to prevent chafing. Double swivel cable connectors behind the clasps allow you to safely return to the board after a fall, without tangling or possible cuts.
