The BonFeu BonBowl Plus is made of high-quality, 3mm-thick Corten steel. Corten is a metal alloy composed of iron with added copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium, and is resistant to weathering. A rust-colored, very dense oxide coating protects the deeper layers of the material from oxygen, significantly slowing the oxidation process. However, corrosion can progress in areas where water collects in recesses.
